I thought I’d better create a new thread for my inquiry. I want to double the contact section to have two sections that I can customize using the customizer.
I already edited the following files:– inc/customizer.php: copied the whole section and renamed everything under this new section like this hashone_contact_sec -> hashone_contacts2_sec and so on
– inc/js/customizer-scripts.js: copied the section case and renamed likewise to ‘accordion-section-hashone_contact2_sec’ and ‘hs-contact2-section’I’m getting the following error: Fatal error: Call to a member function add_section() on null in /homepages/4/d471003548/htdocs/fs_landing/wp-content/themes/hashone/inc/customizer.php on line 2561
That’s basically the line where the copied and renamed Section Contact2 begins. How can I fix this error and what else will I have to do to get it working?Best greetings

It is not as simple as you thought. You need to make edits in multiple places.
