Hi TickyNucker, no it doesn’t work for me…
Also, I would want different masthead images for different page, like that site I linked to has but I guess this wouldn’t be done by editing the generic css file?
Anyone else got ideas? I only want quite a simple site really with a horizontal menu, widescreen masthead image and text below it with white background. No slider needed.
thanks
huntgarethParticipantThanks …but still after reading the documentation I can’t see how to get a page with this full width masthead image under the menu. Maybe I’m being stupid and missing something but can someone please direct me to where I should be looking/how I can do this?
As I said, I can create a sliding full width image but that isn’t what I want…I want something like this: https://www.spoonandstable.com/about/
thanks
huntgarethParticipantThanks, although can I check – does that thread refer to an image in the actual header (with the logo etc), or a full width image below the menu. It is the full width image below the menu which I am after (i.e. the food jars lined up in the example link i posted).
Also, how do I edit the CSS and just for the one page? (as the link posted suggests I would need to include just one link to a header image in the CSS).
Sorry, beginner at this.
huntgarethParticipantAnyone?
huntgarethParticipantHi, thanks…hadn’t seen it but am trying it now. I see that the image I referred to was actually a slider image so I am trying to set this up but am having an issue:
For the first page in my slider I have set a featured image, but the featured image isn’t displaying. And the caption title and caption content are just displaying as normal title’s and content text instead. I also can only see the options for siderbar layout but not excerpt or comments within the page setup (unlike in the documentation image).
Can anyone tell me what might be wrong here?
Thanks
huntgarethParticipantAnyone? Maybe my description isn’t very clear?
